About the MGM Grand Las Vegas

The MGM Grand Hotel and Casino is located on the Vegas Strip at 3799 S. Las Vegas Boulevard and is the largest single hotel in the United States.

When the hotel opened in 1993 it was owned by the MGM Grand movie production company and featured an extensive Wizard of Oz theme, which accounts for the green “Emerald City” color of the building itself.
